Story of Who I Am
My name is Jacob Krehbiel. I am a graduate of Ferris State University's Journalism and Technical Communication Program. Writing is my passion, and professors consistently praised the quality of my papers. I am a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the written word because as this website shows, I approach every project as if I am telling a story.
I hope that after you have looked at this portfolio consisting of my best stories, you will be convinced that I am the man for whatever job you have available, whether it be article, proposal, or essay writing.

I am very adept at researching and writing in whatever format I need to use. I enjoy expanding my horizons and finding new ways to convey information to have an impact on the audience of each story I tell.
Why all these forms of stories are important

Articles are important because they let readers know what is going on in the world. They go by a very specific, universally accepted template and require a thorough organization, which I am willing to implement.
Newsletters and brochures are important because they require images just as much as text so there needs to be maximum organization and layout to ensure the best visual experience.
Presentations are important because if they are structured correctly, they can get a point of view across in an effective visual manner. Organization is just as key to presentations as it is to written pieces.
Essays are important because they serve as thorough evaluations on a given subject matter. Essays also require a lot of organization as well as a hefty amount of information.
Instructions are important because people need a textual guide during difficult and potentially dangerous activity and assembly. Instructions must be easy to understand, organized, and accurate. Any negligence in any of these three areas can lead to undesirable consequences and even death in some instances.
Proposals are important because they require a substantial amount of information to back up the author's position. They also have to be feasible and coherent so the audience can understand why the suggestion is necessary.
Blurbs are important because they are how companies attract customers and partners. When they display all the useful facts and a clear understanding of how an industry works, they show that the business is reliable and collaboration would be a good investment.
Videos are important because editing is a visual form of writing. Cobbling clips together to form a large, unified presentation requires just as much cohesion and style as printed projects.
Reviews are important because they express a professional critic's opinion, no matter what the field they specialize in, be it film, literature, food, music, or art. They can even invite discourse and critical thinking on the subject.
